The 2024 Ariens laureate is Professor dr. Erik Frijlink. Professor Frijlink has worked for Solvay Pharmaceuticals in Weesp before becoming professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Groningen. He and his team were able to improve inhalers to achieve real benefit for patients. His Ariens lecture held at the Dutch Medicines Days in Oss on October 16 2024, was titled: “From pharmacology to technology and back”.
