Vanaf 11 juli Nationaal Hitteplan actief in zuiden, midden en oosten van Nederland July 9, 2026
Na overleg met het KNMI (Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut) heeft het RIVM besloten het Nationaal Hitteplan te activeren in delen van het land. Dit geldt vanaf zaterdag 11 juli voor de provincies Zeeland, Zuid-Holland, Noord-Brabant, Limburg, Utrecht, Gelderland en Overijssel. Het is de tweede keer dit jaar dat het Nationaal Hitteplan geactiveerd wordt.

De samenstelling van voedingsmiddelen in de supermarkt is licht verbeterd. Dat blijkt uit een eerste meting van het RIVM naar voedingsmiddelen die in 2025 te koop waren. Er is vergeleken met producten uit 2020. De meting laat zien dat er meer nodig is om de doelen voor alle productgroepen en voedingsstoffen in 2030 te halen.
