Invloed paasvuren op luchtkwaliteit tijdens Pasen beperkt April 3, 2026
Het RIVM verwacht dat in grote delen van het land de luchtkwaliteit dit jaar niet of beperkt wordt beïnvloed door de paasvuren. In gebieden waar paasvuren worden ontstoken kan de luchtkwaliteit lokaal korte tijd verslechteren. In het paasweekend waait de wind uit het zuiden of westen. De paasvuren in Duitsland zorgen daardoor niet voor een verslechtering van de luchtkwaliteit in ons land.
Meer mensen ervaren gezondheidsklachten door gebruik sportprestatieverhogende middelen April 1, 2026
Vijftien procent van de wekelijkse sporters van vijftien jaar en ouder die in 2024 weleens een sportprestatieverhogend middel gebruikte, ervaarde gezondheidsklachten door het gebruik van deze middelen. In 2016 was dit nog vijf procent. Van de mensen met klachten zocht één op de vijf medische hulp. Dat blijkt uit onderzoek van het RIVM.
