The annual doctoral competition is an important part of the Dutch Medicine Days.
FIGON wants to give the best students from different regions a platform to present their research.
It is important that candidates from various pharmaceutical and medical research groups in Dutch research institutes compete for honors and prizes.
For this, all institutes in the Netherlands are invited annually to nominate a candidate who is conducting innovative research on medicines and can present this research. The institutes decide on their nomination and selection.
When multiple research schools are located in one region, one candidate per region applies. (Institutes should coordinate with each other about this).
